There's so much that is about to be exposed within relationships starting September 10th. Venus, the planet of love, enters Scorpio that day and stays there until October 25th. If you're in a relationship, dating someone, or even interested in someone, pay attention. Relationships are about to get a lot deeper and much more revealing.
Scorpio wants truth, intimacy and emotional depth. On one hand, this can absolutely deepen a healthy relationship. But if the connection is toxic, this energy can reveal just how toxic it really is. Possessiveness, obsession, jealousy, all the darker sides of relationships will be really hard to ignore right now.
The retrograde changes everything
This is especially important because Venus is in her shadow phase right now and will go retrograde in the sign of Scorpio starting October 3rd. It'll stay retrograde in Scorpio till October 25th, then retrograde back into Libra, and go direct on November 13th.
During this Venus retrograde period, a lot of stuff from the past can come up. People from the past you have unfinished business with, old wounds, past relationship problems.
Relationships will be tested during this time. During the retrograde phase, you will have to re-evaluate what you really want and what you're willing to accept. There's going to be a huge focus on whatever house Scorpio rules in your birth chart. That area of life can get a lot deeper, but there is also the potential for healing there. A lot of themes from the past in relation to that house will come up too, so really get to know that part of your chart.
Not the best time to start something new
This may not be the best period for a new relationship. Venus in Scorpio is very magnetic. Things can get very deep and very intense very quickly. But once Venus turns retrograde, there's going to be a lot of challenges that come up that make you question things. I'm not saying it's not possible to have a successful relationship that starts now, but just be aware that there may be some bumps in the road at the beginning.
My advice is to just take things slow, not to force anything, and let them unfold naturally. This period is going to be very make it or break it when it comes to relationships, especially during the retrograde period. If you have a healthy relationship, this can actually deepen and strengthen the bond. But if it's toxic, dishonest or unstable, this energy will definitely expose that.
