Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 31, 2026
1. Scope and Contracting Party
These Terms of Service govern your use of the AstroBella mobile application for iOS and Android, the website at astrobella.com, and the digital content and services offered through them, together the "Service". They apply to the free version of the Service, premium subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and one time digital purchases made through astrobella.com, including yearly horoscopes.
Your contracting party is Moonphase Apps GmbH, Ferdinand-Koch-Straße 31, 26133 Oldenburg, Germany, registered with the commercial register of the Local Court of Oldenburg under HRB 219941 ("Moonphase", "we", "us" or "our").
For purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable terms, conditions and payment rules of Apple or Google also apply. Apple and Google are responsible for operating their respective stores and for processing store payments. These Terms govern the contractual relationship between you and Moonphase concerning the Service to the extent permitted by the applicable store terms.
If you purchase a one time digital product through astrobella.com, you submit a binding order when you select the button that clearly indicates an obligation to pay. The contract is concluded when we confirm acceptance by email or make the digital product available to you, whichever occurs first. Processing a payment alone does not constitute acceptance. Payments on the website are processed by Stripe or another payment service provider shown at checkout.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Service if you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent of your parent or legal guardian, unless the applicable law permits you to enter into the relevant contract without that consent. By using the Service or making a purchase, you confirm that you satisfy these requirements.
3. The Service and Its Purpose
AstroBella provides digital astrology and self reflection content. Depending on the version and features available to you, this may include birth chart analysis, daily, weekly and monthly horoscopes, transit calendars and alerts, compatibility readings, tarot content, an AI astrological advisor, and educational content.
All astrological and tarot content, as well as the AI astrological advisor, is provided solely for entertainment and personal reflection. It is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice. It is not a diagnosis, treatment, professional opinion or prediction of future events. You must not use it as the basis for important decisions, including decisions concerning your health, mental wellbeing, finances, legal position, safety, relationships or career. Seek appropriately qualified professional advice for matters requiring it.
We may use automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to generate or present parts of the Service. Automated output can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your circumstances. You remain responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use any output.
4. Accounts
Certain features require an account. You must provide accurate and current information and promptly update it where necessary. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity carried out through your account, unless you are not responsible for that activity.
You must not sell, transfer, share or make your account available to another person. Please notify us without undue delay if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
You may end your account at any time through the settings provided in the app, subject to any steps required to cancel an active subscription through the applicable app store. Deleting the app does not by itself cancel a subscription.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service where there is a material reason, in particular where you breach these Terms, use the Service unlawfully, compromise the security or integrity of the Service, or materially interfere with other users. Where reasonable, we will give you prior notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach. This does not affect either party's statutory rights to terminate for good cause.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store and Google Play. The available subscription periods, prices, currency, included features and any trial terms are shown to you before purchase in the relevant store. The app store charges the payment method associated with your store account in accordance with its terms.
Unless you cancel, a subscription automatically renews for successive subscription periods at the price then applicable to that subscription. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period through the subscription settings of your Apple or Google account. The app store may otherwise charge the renewal amount before the current period ends in accordance with its terms. Deleting the app or your AstroBella account does not cancel the app store subscription.
We may change subscription prices for future subscription periods. We will give you advance notice through the applicable app store or by another suitable means. For existing subscribers, a price change will take effect only at the next renewal following that notice. If you do not agree, you may cancel before renewal.
Free trials may be offered at our discretion and only on the terms presented with the offer. Unless stated otherwise, each user may use one free trial only. Where a trial is followed by a paid subscription, the paid period begins at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds and withdrawal requests for App Store or Google Play purchases are handled through the withdrawal and refund processes of Apple or Google, subject to the applicable store terms and your mandatory statutory rights. If you need assistance in relation to a statutory right, you may also contact us at support@astrobella.com.
For purchases on astrobella.com, the price payable is displayed before you place your order. Payment is due when you place the order. We will make the purchased digital content available after payment confirmation, subject to your withdrawal rights and the consent described in Section 6.
6. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers in the European Union
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days without giving any reason.
Withdrawal Instruction
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the contract is concluded.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Moonphase Apps GmbH, Ferdinand-Koch-Straße 31, 26133 Oldenburg, Germany, email: support@astrobella.com, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example by email. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you are not required to do so.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your notice of withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fee as a result of the reimbursement.
Digital Content and Immediate Supply
The right of withdrawal expires for digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium if we begin performance after you have expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged that, by giving that consent, you lose your right of withdrawal. Where required, we will obtain that express consent and acknowledgment separately during the purchase process, in accordance with Section 356(5) of the German Civil Code.
For App Store and Google Play purchases, please use the applicable withdrawal or refund process made available by Apple or Google. This does not restrict any mandatory statutory rights you may have against us.

7. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use
The Service and all content made available through it, including software, designs, text, graphics, audio, video, astrology content, tarot content, data, trademarks and logos, are protected by intellectual property laws and are owned by Moonphase or its licensors.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, non sublicensable and revocable licence to access and use the Service and its content for your own private, noncommercial use during the term of your contract with us. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
Except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law, you must not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, commercially exploit, alter, remove proprietary notices from, or create derivative works from any part of the Service. You must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the app or other software, scrape or systematically extract content or data, or use automated means to access the Service without our prior written consent.
8. User Content and Feedback
You retain ownership of content that you submit to the Service, including comments and feedback, to the extent you hold the relevant rights. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to submit that content.
When you submit user content, you grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty free licence to host, store, reproduce, technically adapt, display and otherwise use that content only as necessary to operate, provide, secure and improve the Service. This licence does not transfer ownership to us and does not permit us to use your content for unrelated purposes.
The licence ends when you delete the user content or your account, except to the extent that the content remains in routine backups until deletion in the ordinary course, must be retained by law, or must be retained to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We are not obliged to publish, retain or use feedback or other user content.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use the Service in a manner that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or infringes the rights of another person. In particular, you must not use the Service to infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights, interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security, introduce malware or harmful code, create or use multiple accounts abusively, impersonate another person, or circumvent access controls, payment requirements or usage limits.
10. Availability, Maintenance and Changes
We use reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and secure. However, uninterrupted or error free availability is not promised unless expressly agreed. The Service may be unavailable temporarily because of maintenance, security measures, technical faults, capacity limitations, telecommunications failures or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where practicable, we will take reasonable account of users' interests when scheduling planned maintenance.
We may change, add or discontinue features where there is a valid reason, including technical development, security, legal or regulatory requirements, changes in third party services, improvement of the Service, or the need to adapt the Service to changed user requirements. We will make such changes without additional cost to you and with reasonable regard to your legitimate interests. Where a change has more than a minor adverse effect on your access to or use of a paid digital product, we will provide the notice and rights required by applicable law.
Nothing in this Section limits your statutory rights regarding the supply, conformity, availability or modification of digital products.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and to the extent that we have given a guarantee. Liability under mandatory statutory provisions remains unaffected.
In the event of slight negligence, we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations. Essential contractual obligations are obligations whose fulfilment is necessary for the proper performance of the contract and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely. In that case, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
In all other cases, our liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you will indemnify us against third party claims, including reasonable costs of legal defence, arising from your unlawful use of the Service or your culpable breach of these Terms. This applies only to the extent that you are responsible for the circumstances giving rise to the claim.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may change these Terms where there is a valid reason, including changes in law, a court or regulatory requirement, technical developments, changes in the scope of the Service, or the need to correct gaps that materially affect the balance of the contract. Changes must be reasonable and must not materially disturb the contractual balance to your disadvantage.
We will notify you of a proposed change in text form or through the app at least two months before it takes effect. The notice will explain the change, its effective date, your right to object and the consequences of continued use. You may object before the proposed effective date or terminate the contract in accordance with the applicable cancellation process.
If a notified change is reasonable and our notice clearly states that continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the change. Changes to the core obligations of the parties, or other material changes that cannot reasonably be imposed in this way, require your express consent.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and the contractual relationship between you and us are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
If you are a merchant within the meaning of the German Commercial Code, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is Oldenburg, Germany.
15. Consumer Dispute Resolution
In accordance with Section 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act, we are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
16. Other Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The statutory provisions apply in place of the invalid or unenforceable provision.
These Terms, together with the information presented to you during the relevant purchase process and any individual agreement with us, form the agreement concerning the Service. An individual agreement takes priority over these Terms where the two conflict.
Neither party is responsible for a delay or failure to perform caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, governmental action, major telecommunications failure, power failure or labour dispute. The affected party will take reasonable steps to mitigate the effects. This does not affect mandatory statutory rights.
