Two weeks after the Leo solar eclipse: what comes next

Two weeks out from the Leo solar eclipse, and I want to check in with my fixed signs. The hardest part is behind you, but the full story is still unfolding.

How are you doing, Leo, Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio? It's been two weeks since that very intense solar eclipse in Leo on August 12th, and I just want to let you know: the hard part is over.

That Leo solar eclipse wasn't the lightest energy. It was the first eclipse on the Leo Aquarius axis, and because it was a solar eclipse with the south node, it carried this strange duality. Yes, it was a new beginning. But it also asked you to release and let go. The release could have been emotional, or you could have let go of something tangible. Either way, you may have felt like you lost something. Like there's this emptiness now.

You don't know the whole story yet

Because we have a few more eclipses in this series over the next year, you probably don't know the whole story yet. But you are closer to this new beginning. Personally, as a Leo rising, it was an emotional time, but also a beautiful one. I got to watch the solar eclipse in Iceland aboard Virgin Voyages, and I have to say it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I got to see countries I thought I'd never see before, and I got to see the sky go dark around me. In that moment, I felt that life is such a beautiful mystery and that some things are just meant to be felt, without needing to have a perfect explanation for them.

What the experience really gave me was learning how to trust and surrender, and I know I always talk about it, but I really applied it this time because I stepped into the unknown and it paid off.

South node eclipse energy is not easy

You could really feel like you've lost something that you can't get back. But I think the point of this eclipse was to fully trust that something more aligned is coming to replace it. And if there's emptiness, to be okay with it without trying too hard to fill it back up.

What's coming for fixed signs

To my fixed signs, especially Leo and Aquarius: we've got another Aquarius eclipse in February and then another Leo and Aquarius eclipse next August. So we have an entire year to figure out where we're going and what's coming to replace whatever we've lost. Maybe it was a person, a dream, a job, or something within us that we can't even put into words. Over the next year, we may experience twists and turns that feel like a lot. But if we allow them to come and surrender to the direction that they take us in, we may just find ourselves in a place that feels like we're meant to be there. And we may end up being filled with something so much better than what we lost.
